Residential and Visits
Robinwood - Year 5 2023
Year 5 have an incredible time last week for their 3 day adventure at Robinwood. The children enjoyed a multitude of activities including zipline, dungeons, giant swing and knight’s quest, just to name a few. The children faced their fears, showed skills and qualities and had fantastic time making memories with their friends. Thank you to Mrs Siraj and Mr Hollis who accompanied us on our trip; they thoroughly enjoyed all the activities too.
Cliffe House - Year 5 2022
On the 25th April we were lucky enough to go to Cliffe House on a full residential for the first time since Covid. The children were so excited by the prospect of sleeping away from home and with their friends, in dormitories rather than the school floor. Matt and the gang organised some wonderful activities, including climbing, tree climbing, buggy building, paddle boarding, crate stacking, and bush craft. The weather was kind to us and all the children had a fantastic time. The children were very tired at the end of the 2 days away but achieved so much. Thank you Cliffe House.
Cliffe House - Year 5 2021
On the 17th June Year 5 went to Cliffe House to experience lots of different activities. The children participated in, climbing, teambuilding, orienteering, nightline and bush craft. The children had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the trip. After a short walk back to school the children set up camp in the hall, pizza was on the menu and a film ended a long but fantastic day. Mr Penson, Mrs Siraj and Mr Booth had a even less sleep than the week before but were still raring to go in the morning organising fun activities including, bike riding, skateboarding, water carry relay and water balloon volley ball. The weather wasn't as kind to us as the previous week but the children made the most of it enjoying the water activities. This was a strange and unusual residential but everyone had a great time and it was a wonderful experience for everybody.

Robinwood 2019
On 6th March Year 5 travelled all the way to Todmorden to experience the excitement of Robinwood. We were very lucky with the weather and we only had a few showers while we were there. The highlights were once again Piranha pool and Giant swing. The children all had an amazing time and were a joy to take away.

Cliffe House 2019
On the 16th May, Year 4 arrived at a very sunny Cliffe House. The children took part in lots of exciting activities which included, a river walk, climbing, team challenge, archery, orienteering, bush-craft and playing in the beautiful sunshine. We had another hilarious evening with the children performing in front of the judges for Highburton's got Talent. Well done and thank you to all the children for making the 3 days so enjoyable.
